A Framework Resolution established through our members’ discussions

The thought process leading to the 33rd Members’ Convention began several months ago.

Indeed, our members took part in large numbers in the 13 thematic symposia throughout Quebec, and our discussions allowed us to address important issues and suggest practical solutions to further improve our society.

Based on the issues addressed at these regional symposia, the National Policy Committee has created six topic-specific committees that are working tirelessly to prepare the content of the Framework Resolution that will be debated at the Members’ Convention.

Furthermore, we will prioritize time to study political resolutions from regional councils, riding associations and standing committees.

It is now your turn to complete the process by taking part in the Quebec Liberal Party Members’ Convention to debate resolutions that will redefine Quebec’s future.

Documents

Here are the event’s important documents. We invite you to consult them.

13 regional symposia

A tour of 13 symposia took place throughout Quebec to serve as a basis for the Policy Committee creating the content for the 33rd Members’ Convention. This consulting tour in which nearly a thousand of you took part allowed us to choose a Framework Resolution that reflects your thoughts.

Come and carry on the good work at this important event. We want to hear from you.

Celebration of the 150th of the QLP

If our Party is 150 years old today, it’s because it has understood how to change and renew itself over the years based on Quebecers’ ideas and needs. This consulting tour in which nearly a thousand of you took part allowed us to choose a Framework Resolution that reflects your thoughts. The 150th anniversary celebrations, which will take place during the Members’ Convention, will be marked by speeches from various leaders and by the presentation of an exhibition of objects that retrace the history of our political Party. It will be a nice opportunity for us to come together and reminisce about the many great Liberal achievements.
